Poster for Korean traditional Play titled "꽃뱀날다"

A poster for the traditional korean theatre at Kwangju.
the script drives me crazy with all the mythological allegories
but i just simply put them away and try to make direct message from
the title called "The snake wound my legs".
with tight deadline i think it was good to practice with more asian theme.


어찌하여  바리데기 설화바탕의 연극포스터를 맡았다.
스크립트 읽다가 기절.... 복잡한거 어려운거 넘흐 힘들어. 
마감이 너무 급박하고 메세지도 너무 다의적이라  다 빼고 심플하게 가기로 했다.
다 된 밥에 엄한 타이포를 올릴까 걱정되어 결국 안 맡긴 글씨까지 내가 맡고
제목을 한 눈에 눈과  입에  쉽게 맞는 걸로 컨셉.
"꽃뱀이날더러 다리를 감아보자 하여---"를  "꽃뱀날다" 로
주체측과 한마디 상의 없이 내맘대로 제목까지 줄였지만 기쁘게 통과!
후다닥 두 밤을 새고 뚝딱.  재밋게 한 듯.

Collage with acrylic canvas.
I was going to throw some my early paintings before i back to London.
Some were still looks great (lol....) but there is always some 1 year's disaster.
thing is i liked the texture and colour scheme.
instead of throwing them away , i am gonna give them new life!
i think i've just started playing with some canvas works with cut out technique!!
am very excited~!

Spring has come.
Today , i am a life-lover.
In between some commercial deadlines, i'm trying to do personal drawings what make me happy.
hope i learn how to enjoy life better and simpler way than my early days.
try to see more things around me rather than keep drawing my multi-egos.
it's never late to learn about things which i have to known earlier.

Yester me,Yester you is originally one of stevie wonder's songs.
i am not a big fan of neither the sone or the artist, but the title is just perfect to apply these works.

"Yester me " is my inner scenery about daily life.
Life can be quite dull but it can be like a thrilled circus
by trying to have an better day than yesterday.
"Yester you" is about the magical moment when people fall in love.
when the whole of  universe is focused on you two!
